RIAM GOAL Performance is a flexible, mark-free assessment option for performers of all abilities to track and celebrate their progress.
Open to Pop & Rock, Traditional, Folk, Jazz, and Drama, submissions are fully digital and receive encouraging, expert feedback,
without the pressure of passing or failing.
Available to solo performers or groups of two to five, GOAL is not tied to grades or set repertoire.
You choose the pieces you’re passionate about and select your level based on performance length.

- Solo or Group with open genre: Available for Drama, Pop & Rock, Traditional, Folk, Jazz and everything in between!
How GOAL Performance Works
1. Choose Your Stage
Solo (with or without accompaniment) | Group (2–5 performers) |
Stage 1 – Up to 6 mins (Fee €25) | Stage 1 – Up to 6 mins (Fee €35) |
Stage 2 – 7–12 mins (Fee €35) | Stage 2 – 7–12 mins (Fee €45) |
Stage 3 – 13–20 mins (Fee €50) | Stage 3 – 13–20 mins (Fee €60) |
For larger groups, add 3 minutes per extra performer. |
2. Select what you’ll perform
Individual GOAL Performances can be submitted for any of the following instruments and drama categories.
Group GOAL Performances require a minimum of 2 participants performing any combination of the following instruments or drama categories. Include as many pieces as you like, up to the allotted time in your Stage!

3. Record your performance
You can record your video performance at a place and time of your choice, using your phone, a tablet or a laptop.
4. Submit your recording
Submit your video recording and pay your fee in just a few easy steps online.
5. Get your feedback & cert!
You can view and download your certificate of completion with helpful feedback from our expert professionals, along with ideas for taking your performances to the next level. You can view and download these within weeks of your submission date.
Printed Certificates will be available on request for a fee.
